"Echoes of Love" Exhibition

Presented in collaboration with the China Design Museum, Pudong Being Art Museum and the Children’s Aesthetic Education Research Institute, "Echoes of Love" is an exhibition of underrepresented voices through the lens of nature, childhood, and cultural memory. The exhibition begins in remote rural communities, where children’s creative expressions become bridges between people and place. One highlight features a collaboration between urban children and those in Jiangyong County—the birthplace of Nüshu, the world’s only writing system created and used solely by women. Known as “the book of tears chasing the sun,” Nüshu embodies a fading world of ecological wisdom, matriarchal heritage, and ancestral connection. Alongside this, "Echoes of Love" weaves together over 70 works from artists, scientists, and institutions—each offering their own language to explore the thread between humanity and nature. Just as biodiversity faces extinction, so do the world’s 7,000 languages. And yet, 99.9% of our DNA is shared. What separates us is only a fraction. Through these echoes—of art, culture, and nature—we are reminded that we are not so different after all. We invite you to listen, reflect, and rediscover what connects us.
